Notes

The other sections are practical. These are positions.

Against the review site. This domain was one. A review site earns by sending people to buy, which determines which articles exist and what conclusion is available — and the previous content here included supplement reviews addressed to people with diabetes. Five signs of the format, and why nothing on this site is ranked. For a separate workplace perspective on device availability and work records, Monitask's ways employees can trick time trackers provides additional context.

Who publishes durability research. Five kinds of source, from binding regulation to manufacturer claims. Independent measurement of how long devices actually last largely does not exist, which is why the practical advice rests on mechanism rather than on findings.

Why European rules matter anyway. Outside the EU they are not your law. They function as a design floor that frequently applies globally, and roughly half this site is jurisdiction-independent. For broader context on technology, repairability and consumer devices, U.S. EPA is another useful reference.

What we cannot verify. Six limits, a bias toward keeping and repairing stated rather than concealed, and the finding most likely to prove this site partly wrong.
